It was a big change. I learned more on Craftsy -taking classes.
I made a scarf out of blue and gold cotton yarn. I designed the simple pattern and wove hoping for the best. My selvages were still a problem but I think they plague many weavers. I was pleased the pattern looked like had planned.
Next, I tried a shawl. I used cotton 3/2 the warp and Lionbrand homespun for this prayer shawl. It was soft and washable. The woman who received it loved it!
Again I went back to Craftsy and my online classes.
This was my first time of using a pick stick. It was also my first time attempting to twist the fringe.
